Almost every single appearance of Kathryn's (Artemis) and Smiley's rings in this issue were made with white paint AFTER I "finished" the pages. I really am that scatterbrained. The dialogue was half edited as I lettered -- Cheri originally replied to Johnson, but now tries to act as Jack's conscience. And Jack now reveals that Artemis is wanted for murder BUT WHOSE?

Soup Sock,

Those textures... That structure... The pencils are great, and the inking knocks it out of the park! Love it!

Thanks, this is definitely one of my better efforts at balancing light and shadow.

Not going to lie Tibbittz, I know you want the book to be in color but yeah, I love it in black and white. It's on the same level of wow as James O'Barr's original Crow pages in Death, in color it was wow worthy, in black and white? Yeah, no contest, it's nothing short of stunning.

I'm still loving the dialogue too, you're a great writer, where I'm not I don't do well judging that near as well but yeah, you're really quite good.

Wow, thank you. I've been tempted to just go b&w...

That most of the more popular works are color is the main motivation to go color -- I also get complaints that my work isn't "clear" enough. I figure color will help with that.
