***WED UPDATE MOVED TO THURS!*** Sorry -- I've been lettering page 3 for over two hours and I can't take it any more. Will finish tomorrow morning and post.

Sorry it's late, hope you like it. Only one page for this week. I will add a further comment later linking to a blog update regarding the production schedule. Please keep reading.

Smiley face.
(Not really a reassuring thing around here, but even so...)

Thank you Mr. Tibbittz - you just made my day with superb art and great style! Now - how did you come to be this good?

It certainly had nothing to do with enormous amounts of practice.

Heh, he wasn't even in the script. I thought of it as I drew the page. They're a family from a comic book I tried to be the artist for.

Julia's personality reminds me a bit of Delirium from the Sandman comics.

Ha, I hadn't thought of that. She used to be more cogent, but she worked better the dippier she got. I was afraid I'd ripped off Firefly's River Tam, but now I see they all go back to Delirium -- and as a big Tori Amos fan, I'm very much okay with that.:)

Holly will describe it to her later, and she'll think Holly's putting her on. Semi-spoiler: Julia really COULD have fixed her eyes...

(The blind girl is Elaine, and she will show up in MANY future EK stories.)

There are almost no throwaway characters in this first arc. Almost every person you see (even the super-tiny ones on page 5 of issue #1!) will show up in later stories.

I guess I did see the zooming fairy effect at the beginning of the first issue, so I should not be too surprised; but I still am.
