***UPDATE: New page is about 1/2 inked, will be up sometime Thursday. Would have been sooner but I've been a little sick this week.***

At the request of several, I have increased the page size. By one ENTIRE inch. Lemme know what you think.

So, I had time to ink 9 panels this week, but I didn't have time to DRAW 9 panels, so, sprites. I don't mind reusing art where it makes sense. It was more complicated a process than I'd hoped -- lucky I was able to do the hard work between phone calls at my day job.

Anyone who can correctly guess the number of layers in the original unflattened file for this page wins a prize of some sort (hint: not including the letters and balloons).

Soup Sock,

Well, that's a terrible father. :/ nice page, again.

Though, copying/pasting panels kind of make the scene a bit static. I'm guessing you did it knowing what it is like, but it kind of seems like..She stayed in that same exact position/expression throughout the whole conversation. That's a bit unnatural.
Just felt like saying what I thought. If you don't really want critiques in the comments, I'll erase it.

Oberon is not warm and fuzzy, certainly.

I welcome critiques. In regard to copied panels, I try not to use them TOO much, and I try to make sure it makes sense. On this page, Kathryn kinda "freezes" at Julia's ramblings; they touch her, and she's deciding whether or not to help. So I thought it worked. If I'd drawn a new face instead of recycling an old one, I'd still have only drawn one and copies it. On the previous page, I reuse panel one a bit, with the intention of Kathryn appearing a bit like a coiled snake -- she's talking but not really moving, ready to strike. And I think James staying stiff for several panels makes his explosive yelling more impactful.

I try to keep my laziness artful and in support of the story.;)

Oh, and panel 3 is different from panels 7 & 8. So she's not in the SAME position. What's weird is she got BACK into the same positions as earlier in the story, ONLY THE MIRROR OPPOSITE.

It's thematic and purposeful -- like, she's changed to the opposite perspective, that's the ticket! It's all for the story subtext!

Oh, wow, what an asshole! I thought she hit the car when she crashed from the sky and that's why she was injured. This is so much worse!

Yup, Oberon's a dick.:)

He does know what it takes to motivate Kathryn; there's a bigger picture that he sees.
